Tarte à la rhubarbe: a touch of central/northern Europe
When I arrived in Luxembourg and I visited the supermarket for the first time, I noticed a strange red/purple celery…then I read the label and I realized that it was rhubarb!! I had never seen it in Italy, so I guess it is not sold in supermarkets or street markets, even if we have rhubarb liquor for example.
Belgium is very closed to Luxembourg, so closed that is usually the “next week ends destination”, but then you have always something else to do during the week end and Belgium remains just beyond the border and totally unknown! But finally I managed to organized a 4 days trip to Antwerp and Bruxelles.
