Lime and poppy seeds plumcake
180g all purpose flour
150g white sugar
2 limes (zest of 1 lime and juice of 2 limes)
1 tbsp poppy seeds
½ package of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Preheat the oven at 180°, grease a plumcake pan with butter and dust with flour.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Beat eggs and sugar with an electric mixer, until they double in volume. Then add flour, melted butter, salt, baking powder, lime zest and juice and at the end the poppy seed. Mix well until combined. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40 minutes.
Let it cool before taking the plumcake out of the pan.
